Maloree's Art Logo
My girlfriend Maloree always signs her paintings in sharpie with hearts on the sides. I had her write her name in sharpie on paper in various sizes until I found the best fit. I then traced it in illustrator. I tweaked the design a bit and then added hearts. The logo could also be interpreted as being read "Maloree's Heart" if you consider the heart symbol could be the start of the word "Art". For the color version I put one of Maloree's paintings inside the words and another painting in the background.
Instagram Branding
I took pictures and cropped all the paintings. I added painting numbers inside the same heart symbol used in the logo. The painting numbers help us identify the painting so that when a buyer finds a painting they like, we can easily figure out which it is.
Business Cards
I then created business cards that could be handed out when she goes to sell paintings at art booths or to any people interested in buying her paintings. I wanted the cards to stand out so I added one of her colorful paintings in the background. People can get a sense for her style just by looking at the card since it's her painting being shown.
Business Cards Renovations
I thought the attention grabbing logo might work better on the front. I also changed the typeface to something more her style. These renovations make the cards appear cleaner.
Printed Business Cards & Banner
The final step was to actually get the cards printed. Maloree liked the vibe of the rounded corners. I also made a banner for her to hang up at an art booth. The banner size is 2.5 feet by 4 feet. We thought the banner came out great with vibrant colors and good resolution.
